Specifications for "Who Eats Who Cards"
(#202 Bye, Bye Birdie)

  • 30 cards, 3x5 in. (can be printed on sheets for cutting apart)
  • heavy white card stock
  • 15 realistic line illustrations that can be colored in by children; sizes should be relative - the worm should be smaller than the bird who, in turn, is smaller than the cat

Cards are divided into five sets of three each, each set representing a "food chain." Sets are identifiable by letters A B C D E printed on the back. The name of each animal is written in primary type on the bottom of the card.

Set A: worm, bird, cat (See sample)
Set B: berries/seeds/nuts, mouse,hawk
Set C: spider, snake, coyote
Set D: grass/low plants, cow, human
Set E: small fish, medium fish, shark

Other "food links" can be made with these cards so a list should accompany the cards.
