Wimzie is 5 years old and the progeny of a mixed marriage between the bird and dragon species. Her name says it all - fun, lightness, and a touch of the zany. She's always in a hurry, and one of her favourite expressions is "No problem!" She doesn't fly - unlike her mother, an airline pilot - but she practices, imagining one day that she will!

Although she doesn't see her mother as often as she would like because of Graziella's job, Wimzie loves her dearly. She has inherited her mother's energy, audacity and will of steel.

Wimzie's dad, Rousso, is of the dragon species. He's a fireman, a job which includes shift work and sometimes allows him to be at home during the day. Wimzie has inherited her taste for risk-taking from Rousso - as well as her passion for vests!

Wimzie is bright, extroverted, a teaser, and sometimes naughty. In the group, she's a natural leader. She's always ready to get involved in new activities and instigates many of them herself. She's the one who leads the others into many adventures and occasionally, she can be a little too bossy for her friends' tastes. She'd rather lead than follow and sometimes has a tendency to disregard rules

.At times, Wimzie takes on things that are beyond her means. And she does not always think about the consequences of her actions. She rushes off to implement her plans before having thought them through to their logical conclusion.

She wants to learn quickly and sometimes gets discouraged when she doesn't succeed on the first try. She tends to dabble in a bit of everything and loses interest if an activity doesn't satisfy her curiosity. Every day, her house -- Wimzie's house -- is invaded by her gang of friends with whom she ends up sharing her grandmother and often, her mom and dad. And that's not always easy!
