Jonas is a 5-year-old male of the dragon species. He is the first born in his family and has a little sister, Loulou. His mom and dad both work in their own restaurant

Jonas is quite independent and capable of amusing himself as long as he has interesting things to study, sort and collect within reach. A veritable pack rat, his dirt collection is augmented from time to time by Graziella who brings him samples from her exotic destinations: Digby, Delhi, Des Moines...

Jonas is curious and wants to know everything. When he grows up, he wants to be an inventor and he already has a jump start. He has a plausible explanation for everything, whether he knows anything about the subject at hand, or not!

He can be methodical. He loves to play by the rules and sometimes reacts badly when others don't follow them. At times, he and Wimzie vie for leadership since he too, can be bossy. He loves to play detective and is also the best at finding the others at "hide and seek". His favorite expression is: "It's scientific!"

In the group, he plays an important role because of his solid dependability. The others know that they can count on him and on his many resources. He is the "brain" of the group. He is intense and persevering. He doesn't like making mistakes and is proud of what he knows.

However, Jonas is not just a sensible character. He loves to cut loose and be silly just like everyone else. He is Wimzie's best friend.
