Wimzie's dad, Graziella's husband and Yaya's best friend despite their age difference, Rousso is a kind, young fireman of the dragon species. He's in his thirties.

He is passionate about nature and has an instinctive approach to natural laws. He knows the secrets of plants and rocks and understands the language of birds (which probably explains his attraction to Graziella).

He spends a lot of time gardening and experimenting with the growth of plants - that is, when he is not on shift down at the fire station.

Rousso is inventive and a tinkerer. He's good at giving a second life to all sorts of objects and is very concerned about recycling. He is also very handy around the house - a veritable Mr. Fix-it, much to Jonas' delight.

Rousso takes life in stride and handles difficult situations calmly. Around the children, he is both a strong and gentle presence. He has the ability to make them laugh uncontrollably. Rousso is our hero, a solid male presence.

Even though he is big and strong, he gets into the children's games with ease. He is obviously happy around children. He loves them unconditionally and is a great confidant for them.

Rousso has flair, perhaps not with fashion, but with anything that grows -- both children and plants -- an affinity he shares with Yaya. Graziella - his wife - and he are great partners in life and in dealing with their own children and the daycare friends. He's a good dad and a good husband.

Rousso loves spicy food and takes pleasure in cooking. Although his dragon ancestors were able to cook their own meals without stoves, Rousso has lost the knack of breathing fire somewhere along the evolutionary track.
